Eric Belmonte is a New Hampshire-based children’s author who lives in Merrimack with his family and a collection of delightfully unconventional pets including frogs, lizards, fish, and a turtle.
A self-proclaimed master of silliness, Eric creates wildly nonsensical stories designed to make kids laugh (and adults laugh a little too). His debut picture book, This Book Is Ridiculous, was inspired by the goofy stories he made up for his daughter and has since grown into a series. The sequel, This Book Is Even More Ridiculous, continues the chaos with even more absurd humor.
When he’s not working on creating ridiculous adventures, Eric enjoys spending time with his family, watching movies, and caring for his pets.
