Donna Marie Vuilleumier

Donna Marie Vuilleumier is an ordained UCC minister and the author of Always With You: Spiritual Comfort for Those Living in the World of Dementia (Pilgrim Press, 2026). Since 2003 her ministry has included hospice chaplaincy and education strongly focused on spiritual care for those living with Alzheimer’s/dementia. This education is what she offers to those with memory loss concerns, families, professional caregivers, ministers and churches. It is also the education she receives from those living with memory loss and decline as they have much to teach about living in the moment, that emotions are often more important than facts, that actions mean more than words, and the comfort that spirituality is always with us. She attended MA Bay Community College, Framingham State College and received her M.Div. from Andover Newton Theological School. She is a workshop presenter and has led support groups on the topics of spiritual care and dementia as well as death and dying. She is a Certified Dementia Practitioner, Certified Support Group Leader, Certified End-of-Life Doula, a member of the NH Writer’s Project, and serves on the board of the Monadnock Writers’ Group.

Always With You: Spiritual Comfort for Those Living in the World of Dementia

Perfect for caregivers and families of dementia patients, Always with You offers the essential reminder that a person’s identity and spirit do not stop existing with the onset of a memory loss illness. Even when a patient forgets who they are, the essence of their deepest self remains as an image of God.
