DJ Geribo
Author DJ Geribo completed her first novel in 2014, a pre-teen chapter book ‘The House at the Top of the Trees’. She has published a book almost every year since, starting with a couple of children’s books that combined her love of painting in ‘Eddie Easel and the Case of the Missing Green’ and then ‘Mouse Bound.’ A non-fiction title about her Pomeranian that contracted IMHA, ‘The Miracle Dog’ followed. Next to be published was a collection of literary short stories in ‘Seven Storied Houses’ and a memoir compiled from childhood memories of her parents titled ‘Me and Them’. ‘The Mart’, a novel and collection of short stories, and ‘Deep Lake House’ followed. Her latest novels, both published in 2025, are ‘Useful Pieces’ and ‘Ten Storied Buildings’.
DJ’s tagline is “Writing Gets Real”. Her favorite subjects to write about include women trying to survive in a man’s world and stories exploring the hardships endured by people who weren’t born into privileged lives. Her characters are often just trying to survive, doing the best they can with their limited knowledge, prospects, and resources.
When the author’s not writing, she enjoys reading (of course), painting, and exercise in many forms from lifting weights, e-bike riding, golfing in the summer with her husband, snowshoeing in the winter months, walking any time of year, or just hanging out with her mixed-breed rescue dogs and her Cockatoo. Twenty-seven rural acres in New Hampshire is another source of enjoyment and activity as she and her husband work to maintain their land, keeping as natural an environment as possible to attract and provide habitat for the large variety of birds and wildlife in their area.

Deep Lake House

Me & Them is a collection of familial memories, some enhanced by the creative inspiration of DJ Geribo, who as best as she could, recounted the many every day occurrences of her childhood growing up in the late 1950s and beyond.
The photos associated with each story will give you a glimpse of what’s to come. The stories themselves will keep you reading to find out more about the people who, despite their shortcomings, raised a daughter who went against the family traditions of becoming a housewife and mother to pursue an education with a BA/English degree which put her on the path to becoming a writer and an author.
